KOBUDO means „ancient military art”

In modern treatment means possession of technics of hand-to-hand fight of very ancient Japanese school. It is considered to be that the beginning of Kobudo a beret from islands of Okinawa and Kobudo carry to the fighting system of the oriental combat sports which have appeared in XV century. Simple agricultural tools окинавских peasants were used not only in a life, but also for protection of the property and the life. Certainly, the country weapon considerably conceded by the possibilities to equipment of the soldier. But to it interest to studying of this school of self-defence by means of household subjects which became now the terrible weapon which for ever has taken a place in an arsenal of fighting means also is great. Кобудо developed in parallel with other kinds of fighting arts, master Kobudo should own receptions of fight both with the weapon, and without it, i.e. to own receptions of hand-to-hand fight. Principles of persevering and constant perfection of spirit, reason and body on the basis of humanity and tolerance. Кобудо is an effective method of opposition to the armed person or group of the armed opponents. Efficiency consists in ability to use and quickly to manipulate various subjects even if the master кобудо will not have near at hand one of standard for this kind of fighting arts of subjects, always there is an alternative.

History of Kobudo

In 1606 Simadzu Iehisa - the master of the South Japanese princedom of Satsuma at the head of three thousand Samurais of an ice crust the ships has landed on Okinawa and it became protectorate of the Japanese empire. The population of Okinawa has undergone to severe discrimination. Unarmed inhabitants of island could not render resistance and Okinawa has turned to protectorate of the Japanese empire. The Okinavsky peasants deprived of possibility to have any weapon for struggle against well armed Samurais, began to use subjects and tools household and an agricultural purpose.

Thus within several centuries it was generated and there was an integral part of traditional karate a style of Kobudo - work with the weapon. Its efficiency is defined by that it was created in the conditions of struggle of the unaided person against the Samurai which on the average did by a sword four movements for one second. Basically in this style agricultural instruments of labour, then under the influence of a new method of their use transformed into the terrible weapon were used.

Skill of conducting self-defence by means of improvised subjects, ability to transform them in the terrible weapon also has laid down in a basis of Kobudo.

Fights of Kumite Nippon Kempo

At competitions on tajho-dzjutsu the correct technics, clearness of execution of elements, amplitude and cleanliness of falling, complexity of performance of self-defence, real application of reception, virtuosity and much, many other things is estimated.

It is the formalized sequence of the movements connected with each other by principles of conducting of a duel with the imagined opponent or group of opponents in strictly established sequence. In kataа special concentration, force and spirit is necessary, before last movement to keep a precise mind, endurance and calmness, concentration in each movement, the control of a rhythm of own breath. The deep knowledge of technics and practical application of this knowledge allow to rise on higher level of skill.

Within the limits of multitournament competitions on Kobudo - Tournament of cities of Russia among young men and girls will take place.

The beginning of opening ceremony of competitions on October, 1st, 2010 at 11.00, the termination roughly at 18.00

Sportsmen of UrFO, and also representatives of other federal districts of Russia will take part in competitions.
